Food was the best in every regard that I've ever had the pleasure to partake. The variety, visual delight, attention to detail - Superb! Great acoustics in the yurt. Lovely drawing room so at ease!

My first impression: The beauty of the place and openheartedness of the hosts. I liked the casualness of the hosts and quiet efficiency.

AMAZING soul food. Attention to details of all aspects of meals, from tea availability, to setting of the dining room to presentation and creativity and even service. Wow. It was a moving experience.

My first impression: That it really felt like a retreat center - a peaceful, beautiful getaway.

The food was amazing - certainly didn't expect the level of care, creativity, warmth, etc. etc. Non of this felt "hokey", it was fabulous, everything. Tremendous value, very friendly people. I will come again.

Your generosity of spirit is felt in everything here at Mosswood Hollow ~ your gentle yet ever-present availability, delectable food so filled with love it is a gift & nourishment for all the senses, each room is furnished as if you were preparing it for your own family, the absolute beauty of this land is clearly respected and honored and enhanced, and you have a "homey" attention to detail that makes Mosswood Hollow feel like coming home to grandma's house.
Now - the thing I want you to also know is that I am not always effusive, and rarely so thickly so. You all are by far the best retreat center I have ever been to. Each day here I have been moved by some aspect of how you provide and serve.

My first impression: Awesome, beautiful, homey, lovely, spiritual, friendly

The environment was excellent. The house, windows, set up are all located superbly. The inside was very comfortable & the food & staff wonderful. Paul even turned our lights out for us - nice touch!
I thought it would be less comfortable but everything was of high quality. 5 stars all the way! This is my kind of place.

It wasn't only the luscious birthday cake that touched me tenderly. It wasn't just the joy of eating all those meals prepared so that I could enjoy every morsel. It wasn't only the deft organizational skills that made everything run so smoothly. Nor was it simply the incredibly reasonable rates that made it totally feasible. Besides all that, it was the two of you. It was your grace, your passion, your focus, your dedication, your love, your open hearts. . .
